They say the eyes are the windows to the soul! If that’s true, think of your eyelashes as attractive window treatments!
Eyes can reveal a lot of insight about a person’s emotional state. When people are feeling upbeat, they usually earn the nickname “bright eyed.” This is because a happy person tends to lift their eyebrows, making their eyes appear bigger and brighter. In contrast, a sad person tends to furrow their brows, which narrows their eyes and makes them appear smaller.
Another well-known phrase is “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” It’s pretty amazing how facial preferences can affect everything from selecting a mate to determining who to hire. Things like attractiveness and symmetry play essential roles in the perception of beauty.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” -Margaret Wolfe Hungerford
According to a new study, by psychologist Daniel Gill from the University of Winchester, both men and women say that the eyes are the most attractive part of a person’s face. In a separate study, research points to the notion that long eyelashes help to create the illusion of wide, gazing eyes. With each blink and glance, fluttering eyelashes help hold the attention of the beholder.
Eyes play an extremely important role in adding to the visual aesthetic part of your face. Some of us are blessed with long, full eyelashes, which add even more impact. Unfortunately, I happen to be one of those people that lacks in the lush eyelash department. Luckily, there are companies like Vivid Rose, which makes false eyelashes, that come to the rescue!
I’m definitely no stranger to wearing false eyelashes. The first time I attempted to wear them was in high school for prom. They instantly made my eyes POP! Though I fell in love, there were no shortages of pitfalls along the way during lash-wearing days. Some lashes were too full and looked unnatural. Others were heavy and uncomfortable, and of course, there were those that didn’t stay in place. No one wants to walk around with lop-sided eyelashes! It’s embarrassing! It’s important to find the right pair that works for you! If you’re like me, you’ve tried your share of store-bought lashes.
I had the pleasure of recently trying out Vivid Rose 3D mink eyelashes in Haute Cocoa. These lashes have helped me fall in love all over again with snythetic lashes! As you know, applying loads of mascara on an everyday basis is hard on your natural lashes. Removing mascara at the end of the day causes breakages, making your gorge lashes short and sparse. Since mascara can clump and damage your natural lashes, you can rely on false eyelashes to enhance and imply the look of full and supple lashes!

After wearing Vivid Rose for a day, I was blown away! For starters, they instantly improved my appearance. My eyes appeared larger and more sultry! I felt beautiful and my husband really liked them too!
I like how the company offers both natural and dramatic eyelashes, depending on the desired look. I opted for a dramatic look in the Haute Cocoa, which came recommended to complement my round eyes. They certainly did not disappoint! I loved how pretty they looked on my eyes! I chose to line my eyes with a black liquid eyeliner prior to applying the lashes so they appeared more natural! Not only were they super easy to put on, but they were very comfortable too! I loved that they also sent a gorgeous diamond pen along with the lashes! It fits perfectly in my clutch!
The verdict: Vivid Rose 3D mink lashes gave me an extra boost of confidence! It definitely made a huge difference in my look versus just wearing mascara alone. Those extra few minutes of adding lashes are worth it! I got so many compliments when I wore them — and who doesn’t love that?
