book review
We were kindly gifted the second book “The Sorry Sticks” in the series by author Bryony Supper. In this adventure story we’re introduced to four new characters, Victor Vermicelli, Lola Lasagne and their Pasta Petz, Val the Vermicelli Snake and Lopscotch the Lasagne Rabbit! Just like the first in the series, this book is full of vibrant and beautifully drawn illustrations by Julian Bray.
Reading is Important for Young Minds
As a mom, I’m a huge fan of children’s books because reading at a young age is so important for your developing little ones. I was kindly given a copy of Pasta Kidz & Petz Adventure Stories: The Inventing Tubes, children’s author Bryony Supper’s first book, for my honest review. Beautifully illustrated by Julian Bray, this adventure series features the adorable characters Marc Macaroni, his friend Sarah Spaghetti, and their pets Mumbo the Macaroni Dog and Spud the Spaghetti horse.
I was recently asked to read and review the children’s book, ‘Tommy James: The Littlest Cowboy in Reckon’, the first book in the series written by children’s author, Maria Ashworth. It will be followed up with ‘Tommy James Meets Doodlin’ Darla’ (due for release in 2018), and then ‘Tommy James Meets Cactus Jack’ (due for release in 2019).
