Suzy is the ultimate sleep tool for families
Sleep is a term you should not throw around loosely in front of a new parent. The days, weeks and months after my daughter was born all seemed like a blur of dirty diapers, night feeds and sleepless nights.
Sleep deprivation is a harsh reality of the joys of parenthood. Children typically don’t start sleeping through the night until six months or older. My daughter decided to “go big or go home” and waited until she was about 20 months. Can you imagine? Almost two years without a full nights rest! No wonder kids age ya!
When BleepBleeps contacted me about a Soothing Sleep machine called, The Suzy Snooze, I leapt out of my chair! Anything that will soothe my child into a peaceful slumber definitely gets my attention. I was anxious to give it a try!

Our Overall Opinion
One of the most important things when it comes to creating healthy sleep habits is a ritual. Suzy’s Sleep Sequence helps teach your child to sleep by using sound and light to induce sleepy feelings at bedtime. Created with the help of sleep scientists and parents, this beautifully designed product evolves with your child. Beginning with the soothing lullabies for a newborn with audio monitoring capabilities, to a nightlight and ending as a wake trainer for your toddler. Since my daughter is well into her toddler stage, at two-years-old, I really didn’t use the audio baby monitor feature. I still very much, heavily rely on a video monitor to keep a watchful eye on her.
I love that the Suzy Snooze has a soft, pulsating, orange glow as a nightlight. Interestingly enough, most LED’s are white with a slight blueish tint. Did you know, that blue happens to be the only color that affects the eyes’s third type of sensor, which regulates your biological clock? Regular night lights interfere with your sleep cycle. Most pediatricians recommend dim, warm light sources for nurseries to help protect mom and baby’s melatonin production and to avoid awakening or alerting the baby during nighttime feedings.
All in all, I was pleased with the Suzy Snooze Soother. Since establishing a sleep routine is so important, I’m thankful I have a product I can rely on. An all-in-one baby monitor, sleep trainer and nightlight with its own smartphone app is pretty neat!
