Strawberries help fight cancer
Vitamin C is one of the antioxidants that can help with cancer prevention, as well as, a phytochemical called ellagic acid. Since a healthy immune system is the body’s best defense, why not pack your diet full of strawberries. Did you know antioxidants neutralize the potentially negative effect free-radicals can have on our cells?!
Strawberries boost immunity
After eating strawberries for just a few weeks the antioxidant power of strawberries becomes “ready to work in the blood”. They are an excellent source of Vitamin C – which we don’t produce naturally, like other mammals.
Strawberries promote eye health
The antioxidant properties in strawberries may also help to prevent cataracts! Our eyes require vitamin C to strengthen the eyes’s cornea, retina and to protect them from exposure from the sun’s harsh UV rays
Strawberries keep wrinkles at bay
The power of vitamin C in strawberries continues, it helps improve skins elasticity and aids in the production of collagen. As we age, we lose collagen so why wouldn’t you want to eat food rich in vitamin C!!
