EDUCATION IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS!
Childrens’ brains are little sponges. It’s important to fill their minds with knowledge as early as possible. Recent brain research indicates that birth to age 3 are the most formative years in a child’s development. Kids want to learn, and they grow at a rapid pace. By providing them with the essential tools needed to expand their minds, you can stimulate and encourage your child’s intellectual growth.
In preparation for kindergarten, we have been searching for educational resources and workbooks. We began our pre-K studies with flash cards containing sight words, letter writing and recognition, as well as simple math. I recently discovered the Old Farmer’s Almanac 365 Fun Days of Preschool Workbook by Popular Book Company Ltd. Their company’s abundance of workbooks and other learning tools have been a perfect educational asset for my daughter.

A GREAT PLACE TO LEARN
We received The Old Farmer’s Almanac for Kids: 365 Fun Days; both the preschool and the kindergarten editions. We started with the preschool edition, designed for children in Preschool to Second Grade. We found the diverse topics colorful and easily understandable.
This book is designed to help your children develop a routine by keeping a daily record of the weather and temperatures. My daughter enjoys placing the appropriate weather sticker every day. There is also a place to record the daily sunrise and sunset times. These day-to-day observations help familiarize your children with the different weather patterns and temperatures, while also teaching them about keeping time.
Her favorite part is the daily learning activity. Every day, different engaging activities are available; such as connecting the dots, arts and crafts, coloring, solving crossword puzzles, and much more. We love that this workbook follows a dateless annual calendar so you can work at your children’s pace and take weekend breaks if you choose to do so.
The progress chart is great and allows your children to keep track of their day-to-day progress with 340 activity days and 25 special days.
OUR OPINION
We have been loving these workbooks! This 365 Fun Days Workbook has helped strengthen my daughter’s fine motor skills in a short period of time. I have noticed her handwriting has improved with the help of the easy-to-trace dotted lines and other handwriting activties.
Much of learning letters and handwriting is through repetition and tracing the letters. The activities within this workbook help children develop habits of learning, and cultivate their curiosity about the world around them, all while having fun!
With over 250 pages of entertainment, we have thoroughly enjoyed this preschool workbook. Perfect for kids between ages 3 and 5 years old, this workbook contains content filled with sight words, patterns, counting and ABCs. We can’t wait to complete the last page of this book, where we will earn a special certificate that rewards, your children’s hard work and newfound skills.
