Halloween is one of our favorite holidays for decorating. My girls get really into decorating too!! Of course, we have to bring some Halloween fun into their bedrooms. We normally decorate their book shelves to reflect the current season or holiday!

As long as I can remember, I have wanted a family. Now I’m living the dream as a stay-at-home mother of two beautiful girls. Most days are hectic, but we always make time to have fun and enjoy the great outdoors. One of our favorite things to do together is have little picnics. Fresh air does wonders for kids – hello naps!
We recently got the Abba Patio Portable Folding Canopy. I can easily set the canopy up in a few minutes and provide UV protection on sunny days or keep the rain drops off our heads on rainy ones. During our last picnic, a surprise rain shower came through just as we got set up and we were still able to have a great meal, wet free! Now, we can enjoy our little picnics whether rain or shine!
Summer is the perfect time for entertaining outdoors. Depending on where you live, the heat during this time of year can be overbearing. I’ve always enjoyed decorating for the holidays. Of course, Christmas is one of my favorites, but Easter comes in a close second. With spring near and Easter following shortly after, it’s time to take out all the spring decor and get my home ready!
There’s nothing like the end of the day, especially when you’re a mom (even more so, a SAHM). When the children are in bed for the night, you can actually accomplish what you couldn’t finish during the day. Better yet, it’s the perfect time to put up your feet and relax! We all need a chance to recharge!
Everyone has their winding-down routines. Mine has always been a bath and a TV show in bed. When I’ve had a particularly hard day, I’ll even throw in some chocolate and wine.
