To quote the great Williams Shakespeare: “To be, or not to be: That is the question. “ Lately, I have been wanting to take the leap and try out Botox.
I try to live a toxic-free lifestyle, and this would go completely against that belief if I decided to inject myself with Botox (or Botulium Toxin). When you look up “Botox,” you read things like “Botox is a drug made from a toxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. It’s the same toxin that causes a life-threatening type of food poisoning called botulism.” (from medlineplus.gov)
Reading the words “life-threatening” makes me, oh I don’t know, slightly hesitant about going under the needle. Yes – I know it’s such a small amount, but it’s still pretty terrifying. At least for me, it is.
I am officially in my late 30s. I recently celebrated my 36th birthday and as I scan my face I am definitely noticing some fine lines. Lines that used to never be there before. Yet here they are.
